Grave Open and Closing Specifications

•CMV agrees to open and close grave spaces and do the following:

•The grave a minimum depth of 5ft. and of sufficient dimensions to receive

•casket or vault or other outside container. Oversize no extra charge.

•CMV to open all graves in the location specified.

•If open graves before service early (day before) CMV will cover grave

•and mark.

•CMV will remove all excess dirt from gravesite and will deposit extra

•dirt in designated cemetery spot.

•CMV is responsible to close graves immediately after interment.

•CMV will lay tracks to drive on when weather dictates as not to make ruts.

•CMV is responsible to replace any headstones moved to open grave and

•repair any ruts that might have occurred during performance.

• CMV will supply all materials, labor, tools and equipment needed to perform work.

•The cemetery shall make every effort immediately to mark grave after contact

•from Funeral Director.

•If CMV is unable to open grave by time of funeral service, the Funeral Director will be contacted immediately.

•Compensation will be between Funeral Director and CMV. No Charge to Cemetery.

•All employees of CMV performing duties within cemetery shall be subject to the

•Direction of the cemetery sexton.

•CMV will supply employees workman’s comp, liability insurance, auto

•liability and proof of experience.
